Following the death of George Floyd, Black Lives Matter (BLM) protesters swarmed the streets of New York City. It was a few months into the deadly pandemic, but you could see huge groups of people marching the streets, day and night. In Manhattan, they would usually gather at Washington Square Park or Union Square. The protests were well organized and mostly peaceful (NYC did have some riots and even a curfew at the beginning).
