Mickey Blank is a New York City–based entertainment reporter, celebrity photographer, and digital creator best known as the founder of MickMickNYC.

Through exclusive access, original interviews, and on-the-ground reporting, Mickey covers the red carpets, celebrity appearances, movie premieres, Broadway opening nights, New York Fashion Week shows, and cultural experiences that shape New York City. Her interviews feature actors, filmmakers, Broadway performers, and other prominent figures across entertainment, fashion, sports, and culture.

Her work has been recognized in industry media-impact reporting, where she has ranked among the leading creator voices covering New York Fashion Week. From 2023 through 2026, she covered the Kering Foundation’s annual Caring for Women event and red carpet for four consecutive years.

In both 2025 and 2026, Mickey was the only independent digital creator credentialed to cover the U.S. Open red carpet. Across those two years, her original U.S. Open coverage generated more than 300 million cumulative views across her social channels.

Mickey has covered premieres and events associated with major entertainment companies, including Netflix, Disney, Apple TV+, Hulu, Amazon MGM Studios, and other leading studios and networks.

Since 2018, Mickey has maintained a close working relationship with the Empire State Building. She is the only digital creator to consistently cover its celebrity appearances, cultural celebrations, and iconic lighting ceremonies.

She also regularly collaborates with some of New York City’s most recognized institutions and destinations, including Rockefeller Center, the Times Square Alliance, the American Museum of Natural History, Lincoln Center, and other cultural organizations that help define the city’s global identity.

In 2025 and 2026, Mickey covered the Rookie Kids runway and red carpet, with her original coverage generating more than 100 million cumulative views across her social channels. Her daughter, Mika, has also walked the Rookie Kids runway twice, adding a personal connection to her coverage.
